Biography:

Leslie studied psychology, childhood studies, and adventure education at Plymouth State University in New Hampshire, then earned her master's degree and obtained her clinical mental health counseling license in Utah. Leslie has over 10 years of experience connecting with and supporting students of all ages in various settings, including her initial years in Utah leading wilderness-therapy experiences for Second Nature and serving as a special-interventions counselor at the Oakley School.

Prior to obtaining her master’s, Leslie worked in behavioral health in Summit County as a case manager and therapist, and finally as the school-based mental health program manager. In this role, she created and implemented a school-based program that brought mental health services to all three school districts in Summit County. Before coming to Rowland Hall, Leslie ran her own private practice and worked for Park City School District as a therapist for two elementary schools. Leslie also holds a 1,000-hour certification in yoga therapy and integrates these principles into her therapeutic practice. When she's not working, Leslie loves to spend time with her family, friends, and dogs. She spends her summers barreling downhill in enduro mountain-bike races, teaching clinics, and experiencing as much as possible.
